| Or do you like a more relaxed, roomy fit? |

| Alice, I didn't wear fitted clothes when I was a 20-year-old size 4 weighing 105 pounds. I most definitely would not today, and I'm not telling the current statistics.

| Day by day I march on to my 69th year. I weigh 105 pounds. Skin tight is not me. I like loose clothing. I have lost all my sex and vanity. When I look in the mirror, I accept the view of me that I see. I choose to look out. . . out from my eyes toward the intrinsic beauty of my world. I know it is a personal conception that only my eye sees. Other people see their own world. I like pretty clothes. I think that LC has my kind of taste in clothing. A bit gawdy and lovely with sparkles that make me smile. Kind of jewels of clothing invented just for me. That is only in my mind. I can just see the squirrels if I come out one morning in a sequened dress and red sparkling high heels. Mostly I wear big t shirts and sloppy pants. I cover my head in a cap for working. I look like a little old man who needs feeding up! Love, Betty |

| I like pretty clothes too, and things with colour. I like them roomy, and find that stuff that is tight makes me cranky and hot. I don't like to be hot, and goodness knows my internal thermostat is unpredictable, so having constricting clothes is a bad idea.
I also like red shoes, and have a pair that nearly needs replacing, but I won't get rid of them until I have a second pair. I just love wearing them too much. I was looking at a pair of shoes online that were kind of shiny (patent) and had colourful flowers on them, but I am one of those people who likes to polish their shoes, and scuffs them up. I don't think a pair of flowery shoes would last very long on my feet! |

| Dear Pam, Here where I live, people can get absolutely devine sandals complete with many jewels and sparkles. I always smile when I see someone wearing bedecked shoes. I feel that they have expressed their inner lovely perfectly. I do not have much chance to wear beautiful shoes because of my lifestyle being in the muck and mire, but I do admire them so. Love, Betty |

| Dear Betty,
I do have a very fun pair of rubber boots for when I am mucking about, and I love them. They are mauve with white daisies on them. I like to tuck my pants in them when I wear them so that I get the full effect. They don't scuff either - I can just hose them off. Not that I need them much for my apartment based life, but I still have them around.
I hope you have some fun boots for when you are mucking about. |

| While I like loos clothes, I do like pretty clothes. I just want them to be comfortable. I like colors, especially earth colors, and silk print scarves, and soft, supple fabrics. I can no longer afford big names, so I shop at Marshall's a lot. I choose shoes for comfort, too, and tend to wear slacks far more often than dressed or skirts, because I can wear simpler shoes. I have a couple of soft leather handbags. My favorite is this Tignanello I got on ebay for 19.95 Ann

| I can see we are all up to date, I am so glad comfort now takes precedence over fit.
Ann, I agree about the shoes. I like Mephisto shoes, they are comfortable and wear well. Your purse is snazzy too. Pam, I love red anything! |
