Today France passed a " NO VEIL LAW" Muslim
women cannot wear a veil in public. I remember
about a year ago in Miami. Fl. a muslim woman
applied for a drivers license and she refused to
to take off the veil, all you could see were her
eyes, the motor vehicle refused to issue her a
drivers license, your license must have a full
face photo, it's a law in all states. We'll she sued
the motor vehicle, guess who won, the motor
vehicle dept. she didn't get the license. Why can't
people who come to this country know that you
must go by the law...

Cheers..Joe

Yah, I read an article online about that. Predictably, people who don't like that law accused the French of being "Islamophobic." The same article said there are five million Muslims in France. Lol, five million? I'd say the Muslims are Islamophobic!

In Virginia, there is (or used to be) a law prohibiting you from wearing anything that covers your face (veil, ski mask, etc.) when you enter a bank. You can (or could), however carry a gun into a bank (or anywhere else).

My brother observed that the combination of these two comprised a "weapon being carried by a concealed person."

(It runs in the famiy.)

You should be able to see one's face.

Taking clothing off or wearing just the minimum is popular in the west. Why not the veil? In countries where keeping the body completely covered is the standard, the veil is included. Indoors the rules change.
