Searching for an Agent Empty
PostSubject: Searching for an Agent   Searching for an Agent EmptyThu Feb 11, 2010 11:21 pm

I am an author from India. My novel, 'The Azure of Solicitude' is published by Publish America and is now available online. Now I am in search of an agent for my two novels, which are already completed.

Although I have sent query letters to several agents, after going through their submission guidelines, most of them are not replied. The replied agents were not ready to publish the work of a first time author. Some of them demanded recommendation. Finally PA accepted my work. http://www.writersservices.com/

http://www.agentquery.com/ are some good places to find out an agent. Please give some suggestions..

Start here by looking through the Bewares and Background Checks:

Also, post your question here and someone will point you in the right direction:

Also, don't submit to any agency affiliated with Writers Literary Agency, Strategic Book Marketing and Eloquent books. These are run by known scammer Robert Fletcher, who is being sued for fraud by the Attorney General of the state of Florida.

On a slightly more positive note--like finding people, not ruling out people you never heard of-- try the tips in this blog post, which is widely refered to online.http://linrobinson.com/linrob.php?itemid=86
