Coming back to earth
From a journey out to Virgo
Racing along with beams of light so far away
In an instant a hundred twenty million years have gone
Coming back to earth
From a journey long through space and time
Soaring with the photons of the night
And five million generations in a blink
Coming back to earth
A journey nearly over
A blue marble emerges from the darkness
All this time has gone and yet not a single minute
Coming back to earth
The night has been long and dark
The bright glow of the sun shows once again
Time as we see is only but illusion
Coming back to earth
Our home among the stars
