| Happens to me every year starting around this time...I see men who resemble Santa. It has become quite a fun pastime. So far this month, I've seen him jogging in red shorts, eating out, and riding a Harley. The fellow gets around. I challenge you all. Report Santa sightings here. I will continue to do so, too. It is a fun little activity. And I'm not talking about all of the red-suited helpers at the malls, either. Mad |

| Brew is a perfect Santa. Give him a hat and Santa suit and he'd fool anyone. |

| When we first moved to Wisconsin in 1975, the real Santa lived just down the road. He was from Germany, had a real authentic Santa suit he wore much of the year along with his real long white beard and hair, and in the summer brought candy to all the kids eating lunch in restaurants with their parents and at Christmas went to all Christmas parties. He had flown as a reconnaissance pilot with the Luftwaffe in World War I. My husband spent a morning at his home looking at photos and comparing flying stories many decades apart.
My children truly believed they knew the "real" Santa.

| Love that, Carol! A dear friend-- he passed away a few years back--played Santa for our city every year. He was the epitome of the season. Before December, he bleached his beard and mustache so that they would be snow white. He would sit with drinking straws in his nostrils so he could breathe while the chemicals processed. He told the story with such humor! Love those people who contribute so much to make children happy. |
