Three Tons Empty
PostSubject: Three Tons   Three Tons EmptyThu Oct 15, 2009 6:15 pm

In dark depths of fire
Take three tons of positrons
Load them on a plane and fly them to the mark
In the darkness of the night illuminate the sky
Bright glow of gamma rays
Can we find no other way
Why must we destroy all that we have built
In the darkness of the night and chaos of our minds
A hundred thousand mega-tons
Is this the only resolution we can find
Three tons of positrons
Why must chaos be the only way

Actually, the poem refrences an antimatter bomb using positrons (anti-electrons). The actual point of the poem is to ask the question why can't mankind find any better ways to resolve its conflicts than building bigger and better weapons?

Wow, I really like it though. I wish we could as mankind find better solutions than war. Good job.
