Looks like all the authors did a lot of hustling. Or bought loads of the book themselves and gave them as gifts.
I dunno. Just speaking in general here, if someone wants to donate to a cause, seems like it would be a lot less trouble to just donate to it instead of writing a story, buying the book, and then spending all kinds of energy hawking it and keeping track of sales. Obviously I'm missing something. Is it a social thing? Because I really don't get it. Just seems like such a nonproductive use of time.
And here I am posting on this message board instead of working on my own book, so who am I to talk about nonproductive, lol.
