The Evil Editor and The Bad Editor

My thoughts mirror the statement made by Shelagh. Dick would not want all this fuss. Not to publish, based on the rivalry, is the honorable thing to do. I continue to promote his book because I honor his memory. Using Dick as a means to win a feud is disgraceful and I will have no part in it.
The exception to this would be an appeal by Jackie to have it published, but I don't think under the circumstances that will happen.

I agree with Abe. We can each honor Dick in our own way. It is too bad, but it is the right way to go.

Looks like all the authors did a lot of hustling. Or bought loads of the book themselves and gave them as gifts.

I dunno. Just speaking in general here, if someone wants to donate to a cause, seems like it would be a lot less trouble to just donate to it instead of writing a story, buying the book, and then spending all kinds of energy hawking it and keeping track of sales. Obviously I'm missing something. Is it a social thing? Because I really don't get it. Just seems like such a nonproductive use of time.

And here I am posting on this message board instead of working on my own book, so who am I to talk about nonproductive, lol.
