One World Empty
PostSubject: One World   One World EmptyTue Jan 15, 2008 3:20 pm

One World is the story of James Gilmour, British SAS, and his personal fight with international terrorism. During the assault of a hi-jacked aircraft, Gilmour befriends a young girl whose mother has been shot. After the assault, Gilmour snatches the girl from Social workers he believes are not working in her best interests and takes her home. His actions bring down the fury of his superiors and Gilmour finds himself being thrown out of the Regiment.

Returning from a shopping trip, the back doors of a transit van burst open and guns are brandished. During the ensuing scuffles an SAS mate is shot dead and Gilmour is taken hostage along with the girl.

With the American President’s State visit to Britain imminent, Whitehall finds itself greatly alarmed over the shooting and kidnapping of SAS soldiers, and tasks Peter Ellis, an unconventional freelance operative, to investigate. From a dying man in a disused quarry on the outskirts of Belfast, Ellis learns disturbing news.

George,
your intro to the book was interesting so I tried to access your Chapter 1 but it said that the page was not available.

Any ideas?
Abe

Hi Abe, yes, I deleted the web site it was hosted on last night as it was no longer required (time management decision) and forgot that the chapter was hosted there. I'll get that sorted this morning. Thanks for pointing it out.

George

*edit* you can download a pdf version now. Thanks Shelagh!

I just read it, George. Very gripping. There is no lack of excitement there, well done.
