Not years, the number of books published. The first, Going Home, was published in 1973. That's over 35 years ago. That's an average of about three books a year. I read several of her early books. Palomino was a favorite. It's the only one I remember any of the plot. I recognize some titles, The Ring, Crossings, The Promise. I stopped reading them by the early 80's. When the first ones came out, I devoured them, as I recall. Then, they all started to sound the same. Kind of like the Robert Ludlum books, I've heard several people say the first few they read were their favorites. During the 90's,when several were made into TV mini-series, I had lost interest.
Still, can you imagine? One-hundred-and-eight, and most of them hit the bestseller list.
