One of our local newsletter magazines, The Southside Arts Agenda, found out about my book, Keechie,
and did a two-page article on it in the current issue! I think the link
below will take you to page 26, but if not, that's where it is...

THE SOUTHSIDE ARTS AGENDA

The editor told me that they actually wanted books published in the
past year, but since Keechie had won the book of the year award from
NewBookReviews, they wanted it included.

The reviewer. Andy Lloyd, is also the artist who did the cover art for my sequel, Granny Boo.

Thanks, Lane, and I know about the difficulty finding the article. I
tried to link directly to the page, to no avail. They are working on
getting it into a pdf format.

Once I had a published writer friend read A Myth.. in its early stages. I awaited her first comments with some trepidation. they were: "You're a writer, Ann."

THANKS!

Funny thing is, I had for the most part stopped promoting Keechie,
mainly due to the retail price that readers would have to pay. I
wouldn't buy it at that cost.

Thanks, Brenda. It came s a total surprise, but I learned that one of
the members of our (now defunct) writers group had suggested Keechie to
the editor.

This is an ezine for several counties south of the Atlanta metro area.
I think he told me there were around 9000 subscribers - who ain't gonna
pay $24.95 for a 6x9 paperback by an unknown author! LOL

For that price I want a Stephen-King-signed hardback first edition.

So far the only feedback I have received from this article has been
from two other authors in the area who want to know if I could
recommend a publisher or an agent. lol
