Yes, it's a site full of information from writers, agents, and publishers, and I've heard they're receiving almost as many hits as Writer's Digest. And, they're out in the field, attending book fairs, conferences, getting to know 'the powers that be,' so their info is right up to date.

I just received their latest newsletter, absolutely full of information about the writing and publishing world. It's easy to sign up and it's free:

Very nice, Brenda, especially the part about the "Twelve-tissue Tearjerker." Writing something like that is the cat's meow.

However, after scrolling down the entire page I think the site should be called "The Hot Chicks Webpage." This, however, might label me as a sexist pig with only one thing on his mind. To prevent that I'm willing to write a "Men on Reading Women on Writing" column. It will be titled "Quit looking at the pictures and start reading, dammit!"

No need to thank me, Brenda. Without being told, I know how much you appreciate this.

Hey, I won't argue this time; I like 'The Hot Chicks Webpage,' idea as long as I'm included. Of course now that I'm older, my 'hot chick' personna has morphed to 'luke warm.'

I'd be happy to, Shelagh, altho I'm not sure about WoW's copyright issue. Funny, in all my research a few years ago, I never thought to check on articles. If you find out and it's okay, I'll send them to you.

Or perhaps it's a case of first or second rights. Just not sure about articles.

I'm checking with them about their policy. Will let you know.
