| If you upgrade to editor 2.0, you can change the appearance of your page by simply clicking on different options. I recently upgraded and this is the result: http://myspace.com/shelaghwatkins It took a long time to get the text layout the way I wanted it but I was pleased with the result! |

| Neat Shelagh - I have not been at all consistent with my MySpace page; I think I had better get over there soon and check some things out! |

| Thanks Pam and Carol! I used the layout to create a Google page: http://sites.google.com/site/shelaghwatkins/ I figured that Google would find me if I was already there! |

| Why would such a good-looking guy want to change his appearance? |

| Shelagh I had no idea about the Google page. The things we learn as the career unfolds! Thanks for sharing that too. It's on my to do list now, although I have to get a 2-day course written first. I think I need a caffeine shot. Dick, I think that at 80 you get an automatic upgrade overnight, so you are already a 2.0, which explains that gleam in your eye every once in a while. Trouble is that it is a Vista upgrade with Flash overlays, and so everyonce in a while it sends a niggling pain shooting through the ol' bod. Hang in there though, because spring is coming, and with it, 2.1 |

| Nice new look. I like the new perks. MySpace is really trying not to become out of fashion what with the success of Facebook and Twitter.

| A good move for them. One of the (many) drawbacks of MySpace has always been the flaky page edit.
I might have to take another look at it. Maybe. |

| You can upload documents to Google Doc:
http://docs.google.com/
This is an example of a loaded Word document:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dcwcf26v_0d7nfddgj&hl=en After uploading, you can edit and save for the web (the text is automatically converted to html). If you need information to add to the document, you can highlight a word or phrase and do a web search. It's a neat tool and easy to use. |
