Authorsden has an easy self-publishing tool similar to Createspace at Amazon.com. However there are drawbacks (costs for additional things like listing on Amazon.com) and upgrades to watch for. The upgrades and marketing pieces are pricey! However, for a simple book, perhaps of poems or a holiday gift book, I think this is a viable option.

It kills me the way all these POD publishers always make you scramble around to find prices on stuff.

I don't get the connection between craigs and authorsden. Neither seems to mention it.

Have you looked into this enough to know if they are actually printers, or just a feed to LSI like lulu.com?

They actually at one time made authorsden a place for people like us who are authors, to share and things of that nature. I do not get why so many of these places go POD when signing agreements between a company and a book printer can be just as much money wise.
