YIN-YANG is a concept. (THEORY.) Yin-Yang is based on no fact. Those who believe in this theory, base their life on something that has never been proven. It is a very old theory. One would think after such a long time, it would have been proven it it was real.

The theory is about as wobbly as it sounds.


Misconceptions

  • Yin-yang commonly is explained as representing good and evil. However, classical Taoist philosophy doesn't give any morality to the concept--Confucian philosophy placed yin as good and yang as evil. As the two aspects of the Tao, or universe, yin-yang exists independently of morality in Taoist belief.
