                        Alice..

Turkey, Cranberry sauce, Vegetables, Biscuits, Potatoes, Wine,
Pumpkin pie, Chocolate, Gravy... My plans for Colorado are up in the air because the
National Weather Service says Wed., Thurs., Friday Snow for Colorado Springs, Co. and
Friday and Saturday snow for Santa Fe ! Also when you drive to Colorado you go through
Raton NM and there's an area there called " Raton Pass," that's narrow and dangerous if
it snows, so everything is up in the air, if the NWS is correct and I'm told they are always
99% then we'll do Thanksgiving at my place...Where are you spending Thanksgiving ?

                                                            Love Joe...... THANKSGIVING 356119

I saw a good turkey joke.
A turkey is on the table all cooked up, and a head of a second (live) turkey looks at the cooked one and says, "Is that you Joe?"

THANKSGIVING Empty
PostSubject: Preparing for the giving of thanks on Thursday.   THANKSGIVING EmptyTue Nov 24, 2015 4:04 pm

Ahhh!  I have cleaned the house to almost spotless, bought the food, have the plan for the dinner and the expectation of the family and friends to come here   which really is "over the river and through the wood" to Nana's house.
We will have the roasted and stuffed turkey, the honey baked ham, bread dressings, cranberry sauce, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, asparagus with the special sauce, green bean casserole, brown sugared butternut squash baked in the oven, other dishes that my family will surprise us with, fresh squeezed lemon aid, and sweet tea, relish trays from our canned stuff and veges trays from out garden.  Except for the turkey and the ham, most every thing will have been produced here.  I am happy about that.
I wish you all a most wonderful thanksgiving.
Love,
Betty and David
