PostSubject: THE HARPES - SOMETHING WICKED IN THE WOODS   Sun Jul 19, 2015 11:58 am

Back in February I was contacted by the Investigation Discovery channel about doing a show for their EVIL KIN program about the Harpe brothers. I met with them, and they brought a film crew down to Georgia and we filmed enough material on the Harpes for their television show. I have since learned that it will be on the Investigation Discovery channel on July 28, which is a Tuesday, at 9:00 PM EST. The name of the program is EVIL KIN and the name of the segment is SOMETHING WICKED IN THE WOODS. I'm narrating the show, and am really excited over it. If you don't have anything to do that night, and if you want to see a great program about two men that have been called AMERICA'S FIRST SERIAL KILLERS, then tune in. Gonna be very interesting.

I don't get all the channels and will watch it online too.  I think it is very exciting that one of our own again has a tv special.  I remember Dick had one too.  We travel with class on this forum.

Congratulations!!!  That should also create some excitement for your books so I hope you are blogging it to death and sending out emails and news releases etc. etc. etc.

DK, they told me they did a google search on the Harpe Brothers and found my name just about everywhere they looked, so they figured I'd be a good one to talk to. I sent them a lot of the research papers I'd done when I was writing the two Harpe books, and they used it for the back story of the program. It was fun, and a bit different. I haven't seen any of it yet, so I have no idea how I'll look or what direction they decided on. But, it should be interesting.
