| I've been saying for years..."New York Publisher, or Bust."
I just got a phone call from S&S who is hooked up with one of the five big New York Publishers;
It turns out the New York Big Five are making money using companies like S&S who are a POD; it makes me sick. The whole thing is nothing but a scam.
I have decided to deep six my plans for a NY Publisher, and keep control of my own work.
So, I am gathering info, "How to self publish." Many of you have already built the road. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
Anything on Amazon KDP program? |

| Works well. Between KDP and Smashwords, many authors seem to do quite well. |

| It's hard work to make sales these days, Domenic. The market is no longer driven by the publishers. Readers are determining what sells and, therefore, what is written. If you are prepared to write erotic fiction or zombie novels, there's a ready made market out there waiting to buy your books. Selling anything else is a hard slog. |

| Yes, I have a potential publisher for Ghost Orchid's republish - but they want it more erotic. Joe was helping me write it but his writing crossed the forum limit and we suggested he delete it for the sake of the youth.
A respectable vanity printer will republish for $1250. :-) |

Erotic is not in my nature. Zombie stuff? Is that like SciFi monster stuff? Do you know what age group? |
